well thought i might jump into this collab as well dont mind the guitar.................mine is getting some electrical work done on it.......................so i had to use my students hello kitty guitar...............and to tell you the truth it dont play or sound half bad lol ...well hope you enjoy this.....it was fun jamming to this track and all super takes so far.......this will be one fine collab when its done

Hi, Ivan. I'm Eddie, and this is my take over your backing.
There's lots of Muris' lessons influences and I finished on a major 3rd,
that note kept ringing in my ears at the end.
I know, lots of timing problems, I forgot to put a click, but I'm working on it!

Quite pleased with the beginning and end sections not entirely satisfied with the 'middle' bit, but I'll leave that to your judgement

Ok, I decided to go clean on this one. And I recorded differently, experimenting with micing my guitar amp with a shure sm57. Still fooling around with this one. Let me know if you can hear it okay cause I'm having computer problems.

In order to participate in the collab you must send us your guitar recording without and with a backing. That's 2 recordings, so I can mix it properly. Thanks for recording this impro! You can do another one or send us solo guitar of this one.

I did not hear to the other stuff before figuring out mine, but now I heard it all. It is quite impressive how many good ideas can come of the same base, each of them with its own feeling. Of course, this was such a beautiful backing track which helps a lot. I hardly could stop jamming with it.
Looking forward for the final mix.

Here is my attempt. I came up with the idea rather quickly but again was in the process of moving to yet another place. This one has dial-up. At least I have internet access even though it is extremely slow. It took about 40 minutes to upload these files.

saw this backing track last night, downloaded it and used it to try out a few recording softwares. should have seen it earlier but was too busy figuring out riffworks and reaper (was my laptop's usb in the end). but anyway here's what i came up tonight after hours of improvisation, sorry i've only been playing for 1.5 months. there is no guitar only version since it's unpolished and i doubt it's worth it for the final mix anyway (not mentioning i missed the deadline heheh). but i love this community so here's me sharing it

i actually played for about 2 years 12 years ago until i crashed into a van head-on with my bike. smashed my left hand into the headlight, left side of my face on the side mirror and broke my left foot hitting the bumbers. started playing again 1.5 months ago and still having fun.
