I'm a 15 year old boy from Belgium (City: Oostende if anyone would happen to be from Belgium as well) who just joined GMC today. I've been "playing" guitar for about four months now (read: fooling around and trying to play some tabs). Until yesterday I wasn't able to read anything of music, nor did I understand theoretical things in music or guitar play, e.g. scales etc... In those four months I only got a basic feel of the guitar and know a few chords and most powerchords, but now I think it's about time to get serious. Therefore I decided to join GMC as it seems a terrific site to learn to play guitar, from very beginner to serious rocker. I like the concept of video lessons along with some theory lessons which I will defenatly need and find handy. I'm a guy who takes practice serious and I'm doing it on a regular basis and in a correct way. Also, I'm not afraid of a bit of dry theory. My equipment: I use a simple Yamaha EG 012 guitar, with a Yamaha G15 amp. It's all pretty basic but it's also all a beginner to intermediate player needs. That's all I'll write for now, I hope I'll get to know some other members soon and will be rocking my bedroom in a few years time P.S. Sorry for any bad English...
