Getting The Funk Sound, what amps/effects are commonly used for that characteristic sound

Can someone let me know what the amps/effects used for that stereotypical Funk Sound(Top 4 string-Seventh Chords) I have a few different guitar modelers/effects processors so I know I can get close once I know what the basic sound consists of.

I know its a clean sounding amp, but was curious if any other effects are typically used(Such as Chorus, Delay, etc). I know Instructor Ivan teaches a lot of Funk lessons, but I didn't see any posted settings in his lessons.

Any help would be appreciated.
