Hi Bleez,

Your playing is very consistent on this lesson. The rhythm section sounds very tight, there is nothing to improve there. The solo section also sounds good, tight and consistent.

The only thing that needs some more work is your vibrato technique which in general, and compared with Ben's performance is lacking strength and connection with the groove. Also, remember to start the moment a bit after the note is played, let the note sound and then add vibrato.

Scott, this is wicked!

When the riffing started I actually thought I was listening to my original version - it sounds the same!

One little thing I like to do on that D5 chord, to make it sound deeper, is to make sure I grab the open A string as well because the open A and D serve as a kind of D5 chord by themselves - the open A being a hypothetical 5th and the D being the octave, the low D not being there at all. In fact, even if you didn't fret the D shape at all you could play an open A and D as a version of a D5 chord and you can hear how low it sounds

The lead playing is nicely controlled as well. You can listen to what Gab says as well about delaying the vibrato although in this case I don't think it spoiled the performance at all - great work

Hey Scott!

Great job as usual! You start to make us used to your better and better performance - clea, in tune, strong strumming etc...really pro execution.

I would not be an exception here, pointing out the vibrato issue. First of all in Ben's video you will hear a deeper/wider vibrato. Second...Ben does match his vibrato speed with particular rhythm values of the song tempo while you instead make a random speed.

I would also suggest you to review your vibrato direction. When you hold your index finger, it looks great. I think (it's subjective) most of players would go for "down-bending" with other left hand finger as well. You make "up-bending" which seems to be harder to control and less natural - especially for lower strings. simply to use the wrist same as you do when you vibrate with your left indesx finger. Things should become more consistent
