If you're using a Mac, Garageband should work fine!?  If you don't have it installed, check it out on http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/ If you want/need something more professional you can always buy Logic, Cubase, Sonar or Reaper

I have Oxygen 49, it's a cool device, but if you don't really need knobs and sliders you can get a controller in the same price range without knobs and sliders but with better keys.
