Posted by: bryant Mar 21 2008, 04:08 AM

I've been trying to figure out a detailed strummimg pattern for neil diamond's cherry cherry
but having difficulty getting it exact, can anyone post it here in strumming pattern tab form fo me?

Why try to be exact? Play like YOURSELF.

Anyway, here's what sounds good to ME:

CODE
     Q    E  E  Q    E  E     Q    E  E  E  E  E  E
E||--0----0--0--0----0--0--|--2----2--2--0--0--0--0--|
B||--0----0--0--2----2--2--|--3----3--3--2--2--2--2--|
G||--1----1--1--2----2--2--|--2----2--2--2--2--2--2--|
D||--2----2--2--2----2--2--|--0----0--0--2--2--2--2--|
A||--2----2--2--0----0--0--|-------------0--0--0--0--|
E||--0----0--0-------------|-------------------------|

Thanx, ya, I usually do play things my way. For some reason, I wanted to copy
this one as catchy as it is, seein' I couldn't improve on it doing it my way.

I knew the chords but what are the exact "rest" times between chords?
I'm not sure if I understand your pattern completely, is it?

E-1/8rest-E-E-A-1/8rest-A-A-D-1/8rest-D-D-A-A-A-A ?

Can you also detail the exact up and down stokes as well?
I know, I'm being reaaly fussy but do appreciate your help?
