As the topic says looking for a good metal amp for playing at home
Peavey bandit 112, trans tube...and a fu....ing metal tone! Plus he don't cost so much...
Peavey bandit 112 is good yes.. or one of the the Vox VT-XL amps. Cheap and good higain amps.
I would definitely choose Randall solidstate or hybrid for that. Much more nicer clean than Peavey, and distortion is great too, specially on the hybrid.
I use an LV100. I think its a 65 watt. It, in my opinion, sounds amazing and it won't really run you broke. But thats just what I use I cant really say much else.
get a pod and then anything will work
+1 on Ivan's suggestion!!
Randall is a great metal amp and I think will suite your needs well!
Thanks for all the answers guys
I am new here so I am looking forward to learning alot on this site
