Hi!
I'm Hyäne. I've been playing guitar for 25 years now. When I started getting serious about practicing in high school I religiously dug through allll of Metallica's Ride the Lightning, Master, and Justice albums, as well as Slayer's stuff. That was my first step. Then I discovered players like Malmsteen and Vai. Never spent as much time learning that stuff as listening, but a big influence nonetheless.
Some of my favorite players are: John 5, Buckethead, Vai, Devin Townsend, Hendrix, and Dave Mustaine. Though of course the list goes on and on.
Lately I've been wanting to get back into lead playing more, as well as learning more about composing music, and I'm really excited to have access to the wealth of knowledge and experience and Shred(!) that GMC has to offer!

Cheers!
