I just noticed that there isn't a single pick slide on the whole gmc ohmy.gif
Maybe it's worth a one-on-one lesson because you can do some nice stuff with this little technique.

I looked for a really nice pick slide and here it is:
Check it out at 0:39. It looks awesome biggrin.gif

I guess that slide is so simple that you don't need a lesson on it biggrin.gif biggrin.gif It's just a regular slide but with the edge of your pick smile.gif

You misunderstood me. I didn't want to know how to do it but I thought it could be used in some lessons because it's nowhere in here.
It's easy to do but it's not easy to make it look elegantly.

It almost looks like you make fun of me huh.gif

I don't think any technique should be overlooked...Especially for beginners..You can always incorporate it an a more difficult lesson to make it work..smile.gif

You got it wrong, we don't make of fun of anyone here! If somebody want to incorporate it in a lesson - go ahead! The thing is - your first post looked like you want a lesson on pick-slide which is a too small subject for a lesson, know what i mean?

I think Juan is already up for a riff with that wink.gif

You can implement a pick slide in preety much anything, try taking for example Pavel's Alt Picking 1 lessons, go over the first couple of patterns, than do that pick slide and start again tongue.gif It could give you an extra fun factor in practicing.

Hmm I don't really agree that there is a topic that is too small for a lesson.

I for sure would find a lesson covering this topic - for instance a solo which uses the technique a lot - really interesting! biggrin.gif

If we were to stick only to the traditional tapping, picking, sweeping, legato, vibrato - we would have run out of new topics a long time ago!

Well spotted Constie! smile.gif

Thank you guys.
This one is, as already said above, especially interesting for beginners who want to learn techniques or just something new to enhance their playing.

@Pavel I know what you meant, it's nothing you can do all the time. Some kind of bonus for your playing, for example between chours and repeated chorus. But it's definitely worth a look.
It's more Rock 'n' Roll than Metal, you know? smile.gif
