Beginner Sweep Picking, Lesson By Darius Wave |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I've never really practiced sweeping at slower tempos, but it proved really difficult! |

Hi Cael,
Yeah, that's true. Even being able to play sweep picking at fast tempo, it can be challenging to play it very slow. This take is good, you can play the whole thing and there are not dramatic issues. In order to make this sounds even better, you just could put some more work to adjust timing which tends to be a bit after the beat, and also to clean up everything, making all notes sound clear, and clean, by avoiding the double note effect. For this you have to be sure to mute the previous note at the same moment (or a microsecond before) that you pick the next one. That's all by now, keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
