So last week a friend of mine was all going on how he wants to get a guitar so he can play Rocksmith (Think that's the name of the game). He asked me like what kind of guitar he should get for under $250. So out of the blue I sold him my modified Dean Dime-O-Flame. Well that cash lasted only a day as it was burning a hole in my pocket, so I sent a few PM's out on here and to YT seeing if they are any good and such. Well with the great feedback I got, I now own one in a flat black finish!
Here is me butchering everything I play on this thing. I'm so use to having a 24.75" neck that this 27" seems like a stretch now. But then again if I spent this time playing it instead on the forum I could get better at it and playing the guitar! -------------------- Guitars:

Must.. hold back.. jealousy...... Update your sig. There I did are you happy? Wou!! It is a great guitar, it sounds and looks great! Congrats! It plays almost as good as it looks too! I'm happy for you!! One day I will own a 7 string too. I'm very pleased to have bought it. I just kind of went on a limb to get a 7. I've wanted one for 2 years now, but kind of felt that the extra string would set me back with my playing. But it has pushed me to just practice that much more! -------------------- Guitars:

Sweet guitar! BTW, I wish I could butcher my playing like that! Didn't sound bad at all! Thanks for the kind words, I'm getting better. The best thing about learning to play a guitar, it never ends. Congratulations man, it's a great guitar. May it serve you well. I watched Loomis on a masterclass here in Belgrade, he is really a greatness no doubt. Much thanks Ivan, I have a masterclass he did on video where he talks of his solo album. I've watched it a few times haven't done any of the practices I just get caught up in his playing. Also in April I get to see him live, quite stoked to say the least. -------------------- Guitars:

Spiff! Welcome to the 7 String Mafia Playing long scale, 7 String axes takes a bit of getting used to. But it's addictive! I just recently bought my first 8 String! Enjoy! Todd I've had it a week now and I think I prefer the 27" scale length over a standard 24.75/25.5, I love how much space is given to the 12th + frets. I seen an LTD when I picked up my 7 I'm like I need baby steps 1 string is going to be a little weird and if I try jumping over to 8.. Yeah lets not do that. I'm jealous! I've been wanting a custom-made 7-string for awhile. I have a really cool idea for a paint job. It's hard to describe exactly how I picture it (I haven't had it drawn yet), but its basically going to have a viking battle - all white to represent snow with vikings with dark armor and lots of lots of gore That sounds awesome I can't think of the music video that basically has that feel, it shows a small group of people walking in a snowy wooded area. Then when it gets heavier they battle. -------------------- Guitars:

Yeah I always thought it would be hard to play all the bottom E power chord riffs with the same level of intensity and freedom. I haven't been able to find out yet but maybe one day I'll get a 7 string It's not as bad as you think, I seem to play cleaner because I have more space to sit my palm on to really get into those chords. But then again its nice to be back on a floyd instead of a stop tail, just have less of a distance from the guitar to the strings. I really need to get my Gibsons setup again only been 2 years or so. That could possibly help! -------------------- Guitars:
