Custom Peavey Predator

This was my dads old peavey predator and I stripped it, routed and shaped it and sanded all the way to 2500 grit. My 6 year old son drew his awesome pictures all over it and my wife tied it all together and made it into a piece of art. After the art I used a 2 part automotive clear coat and wetsanded and buffed. I also sanded and buffed the black plate the pickups sit in too. Here is a video of the progressPeavey Predator The backing track is a new track I'm working on.... How's it sound? I'm excited too, that is/was a vocal song and I'm trying my best to listen to pro recordings and compare my mixes. I play everything bass/synths on piano and program the rest. First off, it's a family heirloom now, 3 involved generations & that artwork is by a 6 yo???? I love that artwork & it really looks amazing! I've also heard good things about Predators. Here is the track in question There is 2 parts and I'm not sure they fit together. It kinda sounds like 2 songs but I'm not sure how to make them flow properly. Besides the music one thing I'm trying to do is bring up the volume. All my tracks are seriously under volume and I think I'm in the right direction. There were several times during the process I felt it was a bad idea and I might ruin the guitar but fortunately I did not. Having this guitar project was one of the funnest things I've ever done and my cousin who has a real wood shop said I can use it anytime. I'm planning on building my own guitar body from scratch and this time I get to be the artist. I won't draw on it, I'll let the grain do the talking. I spent a lot of time shaping and each time I would change something I would have to start with a very rough grit and you have to step up the grit little by little until all the swirl marks are gone. I already did visit and refinished a guitar It was my first attempt ever, so it didn't turn out THAT well: And I forgot about the holes for the pick ups.
