Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well it's awesome to listen to such a a good take over my lesson smile.gif Nicely matched tone - crunchy muting and stable right hand movements. Good job. As for the details:

1. At some moments guitar seems need a few cents more of tuning precision. Maybe try to recheck the frets on tuner
2. Take a look at the beginning. At the Am E section You have some problems with muting the strings and there is a noise. It's a hard task because 1st finger is in use and this part is not palm muted but...it is possible to still use it as a noise suppressor for most of that part
3. Timming gets a bit off in the "up stroke" part. Somehow You still don't feel enough comfortable with the picking direction switch.

Those things need a fix but the take is something You can be proud of smile.gif))

Hey Tim! Looks like Darius was very methodical and picked up some interesting details - he's the man here as it's his lesson, so aside what we have discussed in your thread, I think there's nothing else to add.

Keep rocking mate!

Cosmin

Hi Timmy, good job on this lesson. This is a very good exercise for AP so you did a great choice. I think that Darius already marked the details that you must to consider in your next guitar sessions. I have nothing else to add.

Keep on the hard work!
