So I was struggling with some decisions, wether to stay in town to study/go away....things like that.

Due to financial reasons, which might not seem huge to you(I will be paying LOADS of money to study extra years, I have chosen to spend my second college year in town. Then the third has minors which I will try to do abroad, just like I will try to do my masters degree in another country.

Onto the idea..... I have always been attracted to water, and I don't just "like" water, I love it. In a way that it gives me peace.... a sense of freedom.... all that. All my life I've wanted a boat to (Ill use the word drive for well, driving the boat) drive around... wherever. Last time on holiday I was on a boat... a few years younger I was and the sea was somewhat rough (it was a fishers boat trip) and I stood on the very front edge, much like youd see in the Titanic. Watching the big waves roll in --- going up -- then down, the salt water splashing in my face One of the best moments of my life.

And everytime since, and even before that moment, whenever I came past a river with boats, or saw a boat on a deck of a car on the highway... I started to daydream, what would it be to be free on the waters? To have a boat, decide to go out into the (not so open) open waters of Holland, and perhaps beyond! Ive looked into boating (to drive a boat) licenses. Not what I expected, I expected hands on/practical practise like you would have with obtaining a car license. But no: a bunch of rules to study, take a multiple choice test, pass, and you can get your license for what... 21 euros!

So thats my short time goal for this summer vacation, after exams have ended in 2 weeks time. Study my ass off and get that license! When I get that license Ill be allowed to rent boats and just...... get on the water! How crazy is that?!! Ive looked into renting boats for a week...its payable! I wanted to get a job anyway! And with the idea of me and 2/3 friends using the boat to drive around Holland, training parkour in every town with an active community... EASILY doable due to the prices being split. How much of an adventure would that be!

And on a longer term...... between now and 1.5 year, I must figure out wether Im gonna stay home with my parents, or already move out. Staying home would help me in a BIG time financially...... to get what I really want. My own boat. And Im not talking mini speedboat or huge yacht, Im talking something like this:

Insane right?! Secondhand for something like that... youd have to pay somewhere around 7.000 Euros, secondhand, depending what shape its in. I am expecting to need 10.000 euros to get a first boat. I know this is ALOT of money, but its doable, a friend of mine earned 10.000 in about 2.5 months to pay for his college fee. I will be needing more time since im not gonna work THAT hard ( I think). But within 2 / 1.5 years.... I want it! Ill be 20/21 having my own boat!

But now... its bed time (03:27) waking up, and studying for statistics/psychology exams and practise for my blues bands demo recording on sunday. After that, Im getting that license!!!

Oh, and a job!
