So I started off with just the Voodu Valve and the Velocity 100 into my mono Avatar 2x12 cab. Since I initially got this going I've added a few goodies with more sure to come. Lets take a look at what i have now....

Here we have the updated rack, with a new BBE Sonic Maximizer 422A (most amazing piece of equipment ever), and the Monster power Center 3500, which I wouldn't have got were it not for a killer Ebay deal. ($179 new compared to $300 retail)

Here is my RG2570 complete with new active Seymour Duncan Blackouts installed. Awesome pickups. The center single coil is now non-functional and is just there to fill the hole in the middle.... for now. And the 2x12 Avatar cab in the back now rewired in stereo cool.gif

and the rack again

Everything I've added so far has made vast improvements in my rigs sound quality and tone. I can't stress enough how awesome the BBE Sonic Maximizer is, I will never play without one again. If you haven't tried one i highly suggest you do. They make it in a convienent mono stompbox to for all you pedal board players.

Nice, congrats on the gear mate smile.gif
What exactly does the Sonic Maximizer do?
I want one because it sounds cool, but would be nice to know what it actually does tongue.gif

According to the BBE website, it slightly delays low bass frequencies so they hit your ear slightly after the higher frequency stuff. This allows you to hear everything more clearly and makes your sound less muddy. It really tightened my sound up and made my whole system just overall sound much better. The best way i can describe it is like taking a big sound deadening blanket off of your speaker cab, really opens up your sound. I got this unit used for $60 on ebay, best $60 i've spent yet

I actually thought that my guitar was coming with the solid inlays and was pleasantly suprized when i found it had the non-solid ones. what year model guitar do you have i bought mine in about april or may of last year, so I'm assuming mine is an '07 model.

And about the sound samples, if you can wait about 2 weeks or so, im trying to get ahold of a toneport ux2 for some recording, but everywhere i look they are out of stock. mad.gif once i get that I'll def. post up some recording.
