This is a really great blog. It makes remember my happiness about being in my first band. Unfortunately I don't find enjoyment in guitar or my band anymore but I'll still remember that first gig and the first time we practiced as a band. It was awesome. I no longer have the will however sad.gif

sorry people i lied, its an epiphone les paul (big difference) tongue.gif

yesterday i was tuning my guitar and my hi E string snapped and cut my finger.. sad.gif
after a brief pain i was very depressed. then i remembered i had an extra string that came
with my guitar (part of the whole starter kit...)

i never brike a string before, and i was very nervous.. i watch Ivans video on how to
restring the guitar. after about one hour of sweating, and shaking, and watching and
rewatching videos, i finally had the string on. rolleyes.gif (what a relief...)

i am relieved to get the string on right, and i go to tune it...
SNAP!!!

i start to sweat... i look at the small cut on my hand and at the broken string next to
me.. after my heart started pumping blood again i just sat there, devasted...

*the next day..*

my dad took me to guitarcenter, because hes so cool cool.gif
i buy new strings and an electric tuner (just to be safe)

i restring the guitar AGAIN and i take the electric tuner...
turns out i was a whole freakin 5 steps too high!!!!
i will never trust my own ears again...

for those of you who care, the guitar is strung and tuned perfectly now biggrin.gif

CHANGING HIS MIND!!!!!

mellow.gif sorry, im just a little upset... i really wanted to be rock..

There was a HUGE misunderstanding...
mellow.gif
sorry, Nick obviously has a unique vocabulary, because
he said that he meant we were still rock with screaming in it.

for example; Linkin Park

not deathmetal, but still with sceraming. sorry about the
misunderstanding.. alls good now, back on track. smile.gif

Okay... You people will be really, really confused. wacko.gif

So here i am, (Rock you like a Hurricane wink.gif ) This will hurt your brain
so listen up, and put up with it anyway. tongue.gif

The next day Nick is begging me to rejoin the band (Mainly couse im so
great at guitar) And he says hes willing to give in to my commands.
It all seems good, were still rock, and we wrote a song. We have a few
problems to tackle, like finding a drummer, and somewhere... to... practice mellow.gif

This is quite interesting, like my life...
i.e. People have been calling me Gibby,
and Nick got our Spanish teacher to call
me that. And me and him do imitations
of our Science teacher...

"GENTLEMEN!? REALLY?
laugh.gif

its so fun!! And now everyones trying to hug me...
except for girls!!!

(what the hell?)
