There are many different pedals with many different effects. First check out Dene's new lesson, "Discover Hendrix 2", and then reply to today's topic.

How many pedals do you use on a regular basis?

I love my Analogman Chorus
and i usually use reverb and delay for cleans
Wah and volume for expression
tuner
amp drive. gotta sell my drive pedals
im getting some vibes soon in the mail: tremolo, and vibrato
and a compressor

effects geek on the electric, but i play more acoustic

i gotta get a midicontroller to loop each pedal to get rid of the noise issues from daisy chaining the pedals

well, mines a multi f/x, but if I look at my main patch`s and broke them down into pedals, I`d say, Distortion, Chorus & delay are really the three mains that I use and would use as individual pedals smile.gif

Same thing here smile.gif

Although I sometimes use delay, but just when there is no other guitarist.

Don't use pedals anymore, sold them all out. Well, not all, I kept my OCD stomp, and bought Nova System for effects if I need them. Distortion is always better from the amp.

I gave up on individual pedals years ago as well. I"ve since been wed to my DIGITECH GNX3. It's an old multi board with emulation of heads/cabs/pedals etc. It does a killer version of the Ibanez Tube Screamer. I keep trying every new multi board as they come out and NONE of them have the gain or the punch of this old thing.

When recording, I"ll use plugins/guitar pro 4, etc. But for practice/live/etc. The GNX3 is through a 15 Inch Driver Bass Combo Amp is my go to rig. Gave up on guitar cabinets when I kept blowing speakers with my 7 string.

I'm currently running the following on my pedal board:

Crybaby 535Q
Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Compressor
Xotic BB Preamp MB
Xotic EP Booster
Fulltone Fulldrive 2
MXR Carbon Copy
Line 6 Verbzilla

...And then I have about 10 pedals laying around at home.

Pedals are my weakness!

This is what is in my current pedalboard :

- Wah
- distortion
- envelope filter/synth
- second analog envelope filter
- compressor

I mostly use the distortion for boosting and wah for song endings as well as some compression.
