The drum kick and riffing does not rhythmically match, but it sounds nice and dark.

Yeah, ive been having the same problems with matching up my riffs with drum tracks... do you have any tips for doing this, or is it just the more you practice matching them up, the easier it gets.

I think my problem is not so much the matching in the daw, it's the creation of the drum pattern and the riff. At slower tempo's with eighth's and 16th's, I don't find it much of a problem. But 16th triplet's, then I've got a problem. Maybe I should try to create the riff then the drums? unsure.gif

By the way John, here's the drum track if you want to have a play around with it. smile.gif

Very nice trip down to C smile.gif Its pretty good but that opening riff is too repetitive so it kinda gets boring fast...Maybe you want to develop it (in notes and rhythmically).

Thanks Bog, and I agree. I have left one of my guitars tuned to C so I'll work on it a bit and see what I can come up with. Problem is it's my RR and the thing wears on ya bit while sitting. Basically have to play it in a classical position.
