lick of the day

Hey kris was wondering is there any way to see previous licks of the day or are they down for good?

Slight errors

Hey im just starting a topic for anyone who notices any problems with any of the lessons, tabs, etc so kris can get some feedback. I just noticed that in the hot blues lesson, section 4, the second clip which is the SRV style descent, i was wondering if the last note of the tab should be an 8 on the low E and not a 10? it seems as if you're playing an 8.

Friends, guitarists, countrymen lend me your advice!

Ive posted in the forum already under "northern irish rocker" but i thought id ask for advice now. Ive been playing for 3 years, primarily hard rock/heavy metal but i play a bit of everything. i also write music as well. i think i have good timing and rhythm as ive been practicing with a drummer since i started. Although self taught i believe i practice correctly, starting slow and building up speed, paying attention to picking technique and timing. But i seem to be stuck recently. I would like to improve speed picking and legato ability in particular. Any advice on what i should do next to go from being an ok player to advanced?

any ideas would be appreciated

Northern Irish Rocker

Hey all! top of the morning if i want to be a stereotypical irishman. Im a 19 year old guy, been playing since i turned 16, so for 3 years. Been jamming with friends since i first started which has been really helpful. helped me get used to playing with other musicians and pushed me to practice. would definately recommend others to practice together. first heard of mr kris on ultimate guitar and loved his lessons. look forward to regular posts on the forum. c u all soon!
