Well i guess as we all know instuctors here seem to be all work and no play sooooooooooo........I hope i get a few takers..........The idea is just to let you guys play a without haveing to write a huge deal on cords and scales.....just pop the backing track into your recording sofwear and have a go at it .........I made the backing track in fruity loops after downloading the demo from listening to the super great lesson provided here recently..........

I will mix it up in the end lets say march 2 will be the deadline for solos.......the recording is dry just for final mixing deals........to add eq and all that good stuff...........And what would be cooler than a huge instuctor jamm

Well if there are any takers just let me know and i will make a post for uploads so without further adoooo here is the backing track.........oh and you can jamm the whole track all the way thru it is like 45 seconds

Can't tell for sure if your backing is the best thing to play over it
but idea seems cool to me and I guess we will do similar stuff in future quite soon,
thanks for input! smile.gif

I think this is a great idea. Haven't listen to the backing track yet, but I would love to hear something like this.

Great idea!

Jeff

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

well due to some interest.........I think i need to try to work with some vidio scoreing.........A new chalange i have never done anything like that before,,,,,,,,,,but im up for it........The backing track i guess needs work as well......thats the easy part..........I did get to thinking and maybee just write backing tracks...........to match instuctors taste in music as in what they like to teach most............muris is all over the board..................jazz ,,, blues rock country.....I guess this post is open for ideas...............I am happy that people like the idea........so lets get some ideas flowing and more people involved.................I guess we could start out with backing track inputs.............what would everyone like to play over .......... maybee we could get some good blending going between backing tracks of different styles...

That's a great idea!
I think your track is cool and well done, but the problem is that you already played a strong theme with the eyboard. That plus the bass is already very strong and doesn't leave much place for improv.
But it's fixable and I'd love to be part of this. :-)
