Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi MisterM!

Great job with this lesson! I've been following your progress on this one and I can say that I'm impressed on how you've been polishing this one. There is still some work to do to make the solo section sound cleaner, and also to apply some extra ornamentation that makes Piotr phrasing even more personal and interesting, but you are very close.

So congrats and keep on the hard work!

PS: We've been working with MisterM on this lesson at this thread: LINK

Well well smile.gif Very pleasant performance here. Haven't found any critical mistakes that could disturb listening to whole song. Very well done. Some details to fix of course but nothing too serious. 0:30 - it is not a kind of vibrato, it should clearly sound like a series of bends. Try to make that w bit wider otherwise it sound more like vibrato. From what I hear you should spent some more time practicing vibrated bends - you tend to loose correct pitch in those particular moments. Aside from above, it's a piece of great work! smile.gif

Wow this was an impressive take as this lesson is very tricky to play. You did really well here and you've got everything done. I think that you are right with your estimate that you'll get it down perfect soon as what is left here is polishing up. My suggestions would be along focusing on muting technique to get really clean sounding phrases. For example, I'm not sure if I'm hearing it right but in the phrase at 0:22 there might be some noise when moving from one string to another in the lick. Please compare with the Piotr take in the lesson. Another focus point could be bending and vibrato Piotr uses in the lesson. You've got everything down really well so this is a good time to get polishing. Go through every lick trying to match the vibrato and bending vibe Piotr adds (how wide the vibrato is, how fast or slow, how much to bend etc). These are details, but if you get them down it will mean a lot for your overall playing as those actually make a huge difference in the end.

Overall I like that you mastered this lesson which is extremely tricky to play and it sounds very musical in your performance.
