I get that way to and I guess it is just because everyone else around here has one. Then I remember I am not very good with the Schecter I have now. And there is the fact that I would have to use it as a wife if I bought one because the one I have now would not stick around.

My nephew bought himself one of those when he worked at GC. He only paid cost for it which is about half.

If it will make me play like you, I'll buy it.. cool.gif Kidding of course, I just love the set-up. I have 2 Jackson's, 1 with maple and the other with rosewood fret boards. My Agile also has a rosewood fret board. I played a Mexi Strat with an ebony board and really liked the tone. I can only imagine what the USA model sounds like. And the H-S-S looks like so much versatility! smile.gif

The high-end USA H-S-S models are just amazing! The pickups are OK but I would really like to swap mine out for some Dimarzio's.

But as far as how they feel in your hand and react to a tube amp it is just amazing! It's like trying to play a melting stick of butter. tongue.gif biggrin.gif smile.gif

I like guitars without pickguard, this one is a beauty smile.gif

Posted by: superize Jan 27 2009, 09:02 AM

Posted by: Mandos Jan 27 2009, 09:45 AM

Wow. You should buy me one. wink.gif

Posted by: Smells Jan 27 2009, 09:59 AM

Nice! I like it without the pickguard, go on, treat yourself, you know you deserve it! laugh.gif

Posted by: Ivan Milenkovic Jan 27 2009, 11:45 AM

I don't usually like Fenders w/o pickguard, but this has a great finish. I hope you get it mate! smile.gif

Posted by: Fran Jan 27 2009, 03:22 PM

Interesting, a HSS strat with a maple top, nice, nice.

Posted by: berko Jan 27 2009, 03:43 PM

Wow, what a temptation... Looks like it's in good condition and is waiting for the hug of a guitarist rolleyes.gif

When I'm about to get seduced by such beauties I always tell myself that life happens only once and a new baby could be considered an investment The thing is that surely you live once... and it's a sad but true story not having enough cash to fork out even in your only life. That's when I end up not having a new gear-day even at xmas or my birthday. laugh.gif [<-- bittersweet giggling]

I Think I Found My Second Wife, Just Can't Afford To Take Her Out..LOL

You do realise that I'd end up trying to tempt her into having an affair with me, don't you????
biggrin.gif

Looks nice indeed, hope you'll have it one day. smile.gif

I actually said to my girlfriend today (been with her 2 years, so it's quite serious): "I actually quite want a olympic white Fender USA Stratocaster." Her reply was: "I've always wanted you to have a Fender Stratocaster! I think you should get one!"

Unfortunately it's kinda out of my budget.

Aw, can't see the picture. Have an American Deluxe myself (Montego Black), but I guess it's a bit of a trip from the U.S. to try it biggrin.gif

However... I really don't believe in humbuckers on a Strat tongue.gif
