Robben Ford Style Emir Hot (5), my attempt for Robben Ford |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Rhythm placement: 4.7
Cleanness: 4.7 Feel: 4.9 Posture: 4.5 Sound: 5 I am very happy to see good take like this. This style is not that easy. The feel is really important here but you did a great job. There were some phrases that Robben usually plays faster. Like very short notes and cut bends. When you reach the top note with the bend you need to cut it there, no bend down. The ending wasn't very precise but it's ok since it's the ending Overall very good job. Well done -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Rhythm placement 4.9
Cleanness 4.8 Feel 4.8 Posture 4.8 Sound 5 Great take. I think your overall playing could be more tighter and more noise-free. In the last part you slowed down a bit, so timing needs to be more focused and defined (although it is a blues track). -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
