> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Blues Embellishments by Ivan Milenkovic

Hi everybody,
Long time since I have been here. I missed this and really wanted to do another lesson. I remember I tried to do this a year ago or something but was to difficult smile.gif Hopefully do more in the near future. BTW, this is my new Fender American Deluxe.

Great take ! It's really good to see you back smile.gif

Some of the chords in the middle were just a bit off time and a little awkward. It does look like a difficult progression but overall it really rocked.

It's like watching a different guitar player, you're so much more relaxed and natural with your rhythm now. It would be interesting to hear what you've been doing because something's helped. Maybe it's time for a thread with an update on your guitar adventures ? smile.gif

Hey friend! Welcome back!! That's what I call groovy playing!! Well done mate! There are only some timing issues in 1 or 2 licks but the other sections sound very good! Good job. smile.gif

Nice guitar! You did a very good take! Some chords sounded a little weird and I think you can spend a little more time working on this lesson and it will sound perfect in no time! I love your attitude and the whole feel of this song!
Good job!
