My 18 year old son is home today from college. He is easily writing drum parts for my strange timed guitar parts, using the piano roll in Logic. Damn kids!

Hehehe! Well, you could have a crash course in drum writing with him smile.gif THis reminds me of a very talented drummer friend of mine - he is helping his dad out with drumming lessons. His dad is a drummer in a very respected band here in Romania, but he got slacking on drumming while his son is obsessed with it laugh.gif

I use the Piano Roll for quicker stuff but often resort to some sort of pad input for triplet/quadruplet bits with tiny timing things in them. I often find it just easier to play it once or twice than the click them all in using 32nd notes smile.gif
