Hey there GMC! I'm JeroenKole from the netherlands and I'm really looking forward to the lessons, and annoying all of you ofcourse!
A little bit about myself. I'm 19 years old and, as previously stated live in the netherlands. about 3 years ago I got my first guitar and have been messing around for that period. Finally the past few weeks I have decided to get serious about playing guitar and making music in general. And I believe that I can find it here. And very maybe that belief might have been caused by lurking around the site the past few months. at the moment I'm really into the following bands: (eeek! it's in alphabetical order ) Ayreon (And all the other Arjen Lucassen projects) Blind Guardian Demons and Wizards Disturbed Dream Theater Evergrey Iced Earth Nightwish Opeth Symphony X (Might have accidentally forgot a few, ah well, it's just to give a picture.) Currently I own two guitars: an Ibanez S320 where the pickups will be swapped soon ( Just waiting for the local guitartech gets back from vacation) The guitar shaped object, a very cheap chinese strat copy. Which is currently lying in pieces but will be put back together before the local guitartech gets home, I'll also redo the finish and will scallop the fingerboard. And I have an cube30 which is, IMHO the best guitar-thing I have ever bought. I'll also use this space to post my first question. I have very flexible thumbs, especially the left one. Soooo, I'll explain further with the help of some photographs. The Thumb! The Flexibility! How It Should Be! The After A While, Painful Reality! Painful Reality In A Diffrent Angle! Yes, I know, I could do movie trailers But on a more serious side, does anyone have any similar problems. And have you managed to get over this problem. If so, how? Thanks already and glad to be here J |
