Hey guys, my GMC rec for Guido's lesson "Rythm Guitar: 80's Rock". Some clipping on the recording... I had a lot of fun with this song! Tx Guido!

Hi Blavod!

Good job with all the rhythm section of this one. You could play al the different rhythms and riffs very tight over the backing track. The only thing that need extra work is the last section which includes a fast ascending lick that you are not playing clear. It's the trickier section so it would be ok to isolate it and keep it in your diary practice routine to get used to playing at that speed.

Other than that, you did a killer job. Well done!

Good point from Gab - your rhythm playing here is awesome - very clean and tight! Around 1:09 is a tricky part that...have tricked you as well tongue.gif A little more patience between those 4-3--1 speed lick on 4th adn 5th string wink.gif When going to the final (fastest part) try to start it woth softer picking and increase the tension in your wrist to keep the speed. Nobody will notice picking strength difference in such a short time amount but ti will surely affect your comfort of playing. At the moment you do exact opposite - you tense your right hand in osrt of "aware of what's comming" mood and you do not have a source of even more power to keep the picking in time. Try to reverse the process - start soflty...maybe even add very little moments of circle picking to keep relax on the very first notes and then strat to increase the tension to handle the tempo. Hope it sounds clear (a bit hard to explain in text) smile.gif

Hi this is such a cool lesson to play and you did a good job. I can feel the energy in your playing. A few times I thought you might have been rushing a bit but you kept it back just enough not to be a problem.

The lead lines present more of a problem for you but they are very challenging, especially for a rhythm lesson - evil Guido! You just need to become more familiar with the lines you're playing because as soon as you get to them.. hand synch degrades and the lines just don't come through.
