I don't really know that guitar so I can't tell you much about it, but in my opinion the best thing you can do is go to a music store and check out as many guitars as possible, like this you will find out what YOU like, not what somebody else might recommend you.

I don't know if that's the same model as my RG320FM. My knife edge one the lower side wore out, together with the pin, after about a year or two (can't remember) and I never even used it much anyway.
