GMC Forum _ Recording _ Latency Questions...

Posted by: Nathan333 Mar 20 2008, 08:13 PM

Hi GMC,

I just got my toneport ux2 through the post and I have to say that it's bloody amazing! I do have one problem though. Although I can hear what I play directly after I've played it, the time between my playing and the software recording what I play is too long. I'm using ableton live 6 with gearbox and a ux2 at the moment, does anyone have any advice on how to minimize the latency? My pc has 1.5gb of ram a 2.5ghz processor, I'm worried it might be that as I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with the ux2.

Thanx for your help guys!

In your sequencer program, select Audio driver = ASIO

If you want even lower latency, you can check Start>All Programs>Line 6>Tools>Line 6 Audio and MIDI devices, and there you can check the buffer settings.
