Hello guys, I'm now in bed because I feel ill, it seems to be a flu.

I was wondering what you like doing when you feel like that... I feel a bit tired to play guitar so I'm in bed with my computer and enjoying GMC forum. Then I will rest a bit more...

What do you like to do when you feel like this?

I'm sorry to hear that Gab. I hope it's not flu !!

I get so restless and bored if I have to stay in the same place... I'd try to read but the trouble with reading when you feel ill is that it can make you feel worse. Play computer games maybe ?? smile.gif

Depending on how bad I feel when I have a flu...
if it's okay and I just feel like lying in bed, I usually watch a DVD on my laptop...something funny that cheers me up.
when it's a bit worse I'd rather read a book than watching something, especially when I got a headache.
When it's really bad, I just sleep until I feel better.

Get well soon Gabriel!

Hope you feel better Gabe! I usually sleep all day, literally for 24 hours, only getting up to eat and go to the restroom. When I do this it only takes me a day to get over the worst of it. I'd rather lose one whole day of productivity than drag my feet for a whole week.

It depends on the "intensity", as I like to call it of the flu (we call it common cold/viral fever here tongue.gif Most probably its the same)

If its mild, and there's not much headache, I watch TV, play computer games, and pretty much try to be as normal as it can be, even going to school/tutions back in the day wink.gif

If it gets stronger, harder headache and body aches, I have some soup (if its due to cold) or have a bath with cold water and drink some lemonade (if its due to being out in the son and being all sweaty sad.gif I hate it when that happens mad.gif ) then try to go to sleep and do my best to avoid making the headache stronger, because it may get ugly and worse.

But the best remedy will be, I think, a good tight sleep smile.gif Get well soon brother.

Hello Gabriel ,
i hope you are soon well again !

With flu i would lay on my sofa and watch tv without thinking about it or anything else
and i sleep a lot .
Important to drink a lot of water and some hot tea its good to sweat and going to toilet often to get the stuff out of body.

I don't like to eat , only a bit of soup .

Keep your body warm .

All the Best!
Dieter

Fell better!

I usually go deeper in the forum and watch youtube vids that have been stacking up in "watch later" cue.

A little trick I've learned while working out, was that whenever you feel that you are starting to get sick, or starting to feel bad, physical activities make your body works harder, and it's like "repelling" all maladies. laugh.gif

If it don't works, I'm "dying" in my bed, or watching TV. smile.gif

Get well soon man ! wink.gif

Is your summer over ??

It's technically summer here in the UK but it's raining mostly now. Lots of floods etc. We did have scorching hot weather in March (I think it was March..) so I guess it all balances out somehow.. wink.gif
