Was told I should this one up in here as well tongue.gif
Haven't shredded much over the last year, so it was fun to learn this now. smile.gif There's still some sloppy parts, I know, but feedback would be great (you know, except about facial expressions wacko.gif ) laugh.gif

Already commented on your facebook, but after I saw this I did a few shreddy solos for some songs of mine. Had to do some fast sweeping and such. Excellent playing.

That is AMAZING!!

Maybe it's because you are ripping so fast....but I can't see the part with "chicken pickin". I see sweeps, alt picking, and face-melting ( tongue.gif ) but I can't see a part where you hybrid (chicken pick) pick, picking low notes with the pick and plucking the higher strings.

Or maybe that's just the name of the song.

Either way....amazing! biggrin.gif

Haha thanks laugh.gif
I don't alt pick any part of the song, but the hybrid is on 0:53 smile.gif

NOW I see it!! Very fast and efficient, so it's still hard to catch.

That's what I call shredding ^^

Sloppy parts?!?!?!? Where?? ohmy.gif This is great! I just had to watch it a few times. I really loved listening to it. Great job. How long did it take to learn/memorize it?

Your playing is fantastic mate! You played the song very tight! Is this a composition of your own?

Exactly! Still looking for those sloppy parts. biggrin.gif

Seriously though, man this is amazing. Seemed extremely precise to me.

One day....

Haha thanks smile.gif
Sloppy for example on the final skip picking part; 2:12 - 2:25. But I learnt that part only a few hours before recording. It's very similar to the first skip picking part though, it's just a few different arpeggios. smile.gif There is also some points where I missed some notes, or the sound is kind of scratchy etc. I'm glad you don't recognize them too easily though, hahaha tongue.gif

Gab, the original is this one:
