Yesterday Monte uploaded a cool take for an upcoming contest - Petruccifever. The backing track was cool, so I searched for it and downloaded it, and today instead of learning I spent some time playing to it. Here it is, nothing shiny, and I there are many unclean moments, but after all I am not joining the competition with it, so no need to worry about it now.

Here it is:
Attached File  petruccifever2.mp3 ( 1.73MB ) Number of downloads: 185

Good take overall, still, I think there are few rhythmical mistakes, nothing THAT important!
Great!

Okay another time to make a fool out of myself.

If I only will find time, I will record another take in daylight, as the video quality without it is a huge crap as I can see... That way most probably also playing will be better, as I haven't practiced it to much.. Just don't know if I will have time before the deadline, as I have my last exam 30 June, and the deadline is 1 July (does it mean I can post my entry on 1 July also or not?)

Tips, criticism and comments appreciated:)

For signing up, do you only need to post a video on youtube, or is there a sign up site?

You just download the backing track.....record a solo over it....make a video, although this is optional. Then go here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4UuPSNMHIU

Post your video as a video response......deadline is July 1st. smile.gif

Hmmm, there are 128 video answers to the competition... I bet that the number will be higher than 150, maybe 200.
You could at least comment my punny take for hijacking my thread You lazy Kaz-box git!!! Kidding wink.gif wink.gif

I think your take was great Marek, just need to focus a bit on bending strength, they need to be nice and precise. In overall, great take! smile.gif
