Since many of you have been asking for this, here are some of my sounds that I am using with my Guitar Rig 3.

- Rhythm Ultrasonic: This one is obviously based on the Bogner amp, a not too distorted sound, very nice for rhythm playing and fat riffs. If you think this sound has not enough distortion, just record a track and double it with the same sound, you'll be surprised smile.gif

- Rectifier Rhythm: My Rectifier sound. In contrast to my real Rectifier the one in Guitar Rig sounds better in the vintage mode (at least in my opinion), I also don't like the Rectocabs in Guitar Rig, thats why I am also using the Bogner cab for this sound. It has more distortion than my other rhythm sound, I like using this one when I am constantly switching between rhythm and lead playing.

- Rectifier Lead: Basically the same sound, just with some reverb and delay for nice leads.

- Ultrasonic Lead: My lead sound based on the Bogner.

- Jazz Chorus: Finally a nice clean sound based on the Roland Jazz Chorus

Hmm, it seems I can't upload the sound files, so lemme take some screenshots of them at least smile.gif

Ok, here are some screenshots.

I am not sure how much it costs now, back when I bought it the regular price was 299,- Euros, and they had a speciall crossgrade offer, if you bought a pod or any line 6 amp before you could send them a scan of that bill and you would get guitar rig 3 for 199,- Euros smile.gif

Cool. 200 Euros isn't too bad. I have a Toneport UX2 that I bought recently. I will try out a demo if there is one and then I may well buy a version of it.

That would solve the problem, so Maria or Kris, in case you read this, is it possible to upload my presets to share them with the others? wink.gif

Hehe, seems I just solved the problem myself, I can upload them in a zip file, so whoever has Guitar rig 3 and is interested in checking out my sounds, feel free to download them.

@ Canis: Are you using the demo version of GR3? As far as I know the demo is limited to a Marshall and a AC30 or something, that would explain why you can't use my presets, I am using the Bogner, the Rectifier and the Jazz Chorus for my sounds.

Thanks for the uploads, Marcus. I know this thread is old, but I'm having a tough time getting things setup with Guitar Rig. Not that it's complicated, but I have a lack of real world experience with amps and modeling, so help in this effort is greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi Marcus,

I'm planning on getting an AxeFx-Ultra. Any chance you can upload your presets used on "Right Hand Workout"?

Sure, that should be no problem, I didn't backup any of my sounds to my harddisc yet, but I know it can be done, I already have the midi interface for that so I will give it a try and upload soem presets here soon. I have to admit though that I don't remember exactly which sound I used for that lesson, but I can upload some of the sounds that I am using in the moment wink.gif
