Selling off some of my old gear on ebay and thinking about buying a new guitar with the profits...

Not to sure what to get am hoping to have between £1000-£1500.

So far I am looking at getting a

Warmoth tele kit. but made of pure rosewood, indian body and brazillian neck with god hardware.

A Ricky 330 or the 3/4 size Lennon one

A deep body Jazz, think Pedja had a nice yamaha one for about a grand.

could put it towards a gretsch white falcon or a gibby L5...

what do you guys think.

oh am selling my JCM800 lead series 100w head if anyone is interested

You could almost get a custom guitar build at a local luthier for that much money!

Doesn't getting an all rosewood Tele negate getting a Tele? Or do you just like the shape?

@ Mudbone: Yeah I suppose it does, I'm just a sucker for something a little different and when scaning round the warmoth site I was like damn a brazillian rosewood teleneck, followed by wow a rosewood body, why not make an all rosewood tele... your right though prob a little pointless.

The all rosewood guitar does look really nice, have you considered a strat shape? At least it will be more comfortable smile.gif You should check out the koa bodies if you haven't already, the woodgrain is amazing. Bubinga also has a nice woodgrain to it, and according to the tone chart on warmoth, its on the brighter side, so I guess you could pull off the Tele sounds with it smile.gif

According to the Warmoth site, George Harrison used to have a rosewood bodied Tele, so it has been done before smile.gif

I have a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster with S1 switching. It has the HSS pickup setup, and combine that with the S1, it is the most versatile guitar I have ever played!
