GMC Forum _ Wiki Writers _ Wiki Idea?

Posted by: OzRob Mar 18 2010, 08:03 AM

I know the goal is to make GMC wiki the biggest, best resource on the web but there will always be content that can't be reproduced here for one reason or another.

So....

Is there, or could we make, a page that collects and categorizes the best links on the web for content outside GMC?

Second!
That's a good idea, since many members post things or sites they found in this forum. Would be a wise move to put them all together.

Sure thing, external links are always welcome on our entries, of course B)

We have many external links within our own entries, which lead to band official sites, manufacturers, videos, etc. But I guess you are looking for new entries such as "The best Theory resouces" or "Free modelling amps", so that everyone can add there their own favourite sites regarding different matters. Sounds great smile.gif

Yep, that's what I was thinking. A portal page arranged in some kind of logical order. I'm happy to take ownership but I couldn't get started till later next week.

External links are often very useful, so I will try to put them in articles. It's just a matter of putting one or more links into everything you write, and the article can definitely be more useful for further studies.

Sounds like a good idea! It would be awesome to get best theory resources, plug ins, or gear sites links categorized for easy access smile.gif
