Ok everyone I'm gonna get a good start on this one.
I'm gonna get my money back from the stupid music store and not go there anymore. The next time I go to the music store I'll have a little more than $300 literaly.
So my question it.... what is a good guitar to buy w/ 24 frets and good for speed and fat sound

any comments.....plz put up here

Well if your looking for something like slashes tone,he almost always plays les pauls. You can get a epiphone les paul for $300.00 at musiciansfriend.com .Or you should go for a strat style which he uses rarly.

In my opinion Ibanez's are among the best shred guitars out there. And the sound is what you get from your fingers. So find yourself a guitar you like by feel of it's playing.

I second Pavels Statement, they are really really good for shred, i got two Ibanez's myself, an RG350, And an RGT220SOL, both are fantastic, Great speed and playability, and they are a great all around guitar, i use my RG350 For Stuff like iron maiden, or anything thats tuned to E Standard, Including Blues and classical, and it all sounds great, and my RGT220SOL, I always have tuned down to C Standard or Drop B, And it still plays great for the heavyier death metal style stuff i play alot.

The only guitar ive played that i like as much as an ibanez or maybe even more are deans, but then again, those are $1000 +
