I had a great time! We went to New York, Halifax and Toronto. Saw some live music. Got to jam a bit with my the boyfriend of my niece who has a really decent band. I played horribly. But it was two weeks of a pretty good time! Now it's time to get back to work! wink.gif

So does this have to be finger picked or can it be strummed?

With attention to fret hand muting, they can be strummed, sure. These triads have some strings skipped so you would just have to pay attention to muting.

Thanks, Pedja. I think, and I might be wrong, but I think it helps that I am starting to "hear," the notes in my head before I play them, so when there are fingerings that are similar across string sets, but not exactly the same, I seem to be able to land correctly with a growing understanding of the note in the triad and how it sounds. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that well, but these triad series are an excellent ear training exercise for me to correlate with fretboard study. I'm working on the second one and it's coming along well.

Cheers!

Hi Tom,
Couple of voicing problems in the 2nd video. I think you are aware of them. If you got time to do another take do it if not I will accept this one wink.gif

Assignment #3 - That Amin on strings 4 2 and 1? Is that some sort of Serbian torture test? You do that chord and you don't have to go in the army? Ooof.
