I think it's really fun to watch the games too and the ones I've played, Raving Rabbids and some Mario game were lots of fun. I have a XBOX360 for myself and these are really wide apart. The WII is more family oriented and more fun to watch, I'd never start the XBOX during a party but WII sports, Boogie, Raving Rabids or something else is very amusing. HaloIII or C&C3 on the 360 would be more like a party killer. Though I'm more fond of the 360 myself, I get a chanse to crawl away in a corner for a few hours to myself and play my C&C all alone. It's a great console, but it's not for the hardcore gamer. If you're getting it for your kids, or plan to play with your friends it's fun, but I can't stand it. The thing that really repels me from playing it is that it's target age range is somewhere from ages 8-12. Most of the games I've seen and played are kiddie games. Also, the system is a lot less powerful than the 360 and the PS3, and this shows in games like Call of Duty 3. If you plan to play games for hours on end alone, or online, I suggest the 360. I mean, it's not like I expected anything but a gamecube on steroids with a controller that works for some games and doesn't for others. It's also the only next gen console I have (I was going to get a 360 right after I got my wii, but I've been buying guitar stuff instead...) and since I'm such a huge Zelda fanboy, I'm happy with that (ok, I feel terrible for not having played mass effect yet, I'm getting more insane each day!) and the line up isn't as bad as some people say. I mean, it's been out for about one year and it had Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy and some other decent games. That's good for just one year, I'm not sure, but wasn't Dead Rising almost the only thing 360 had after a year? Anyways, I love my wii, as a "hardcore" (or at least former hardcore) gamer, even though I feel that I also need a 360. So yeah, wii owns, and in februar, when No More Heroes is released in europe (censored ) the wii will have an amazing line up. Oh, and I thought the control was a bit too gimmicky in the beginning, but games like Metroid Prime 3 uses it perfectly, I've never enjoyed the controls in a console fps as much as in that game. From the NES, to the SNES, Gameboy, N64, Gamecube, all been amazing....I'm yet to play the Wii version, which is really irritating me. Nintendo is the only one for me....Xbox and PS3 I find are really unimaginative and only sell on the graphics....I think Wii held back on superior graphics to prove a point and I think it's working....Wii is the best console on the market so far.
