Heres the deal guys. Our school is having this sort of competition (a business/ entrepreneurial one). I have to basically sell anything i want (has to abide by school rules) and make as much profit as possible (which will be donated to hospitals- Its for a good cause). It works out like this:
-What ever product i sell should not exceed $5. -I should have some sponsors and things like that -I must write a business plan (need some help in that) The competition is really fierce (rich kids parents are pouring money into their pockets). We have to make do with this our selves. Heres some of my groups ideas: -To sell Krispy Kreme Glazed doughnuts for $1.50 -To sell some bakery stuff like small pizzas, cake and pastries We were planning to ask McDonalds for letting us franchise or sell their burgers with a mark up but they refused. NOW HERES WHERE I NEED YOUR HJELP...... I need you to fill out a questionnaire (which will be submitted to the principal so please provide us with honest and appropriate information). Heres the structure (copy paste it when you fill it out and post it): Name: Country Located: Age: Occupation: How often do you eat food outside (fast food) per month (fill the box with a + sign): [ ]Less than once [ ]Once or twice [ ]More than three times On Average how much money (in US dollars or pounds, specify) do you spend on each of these meals: [ ]I dont eat fast food [ ]$1-$4 [ ]$5-$10 [ ]More than $10 Note: All currency is in US dollars What type of food items do you prefer the most when you eat out (choose one only): [ ]Pizza [ ]Burger [ ]Fries [ ]Pasta [ ]Chinese Food [ ]Other (specify):____________ Do you have any suggestions to improve our ideas mentioned above? Thanks for your time and effort to fill out this form. Your effort is appreciated. Note: The pesonal information above is essential to make the research more ethical. Im looking forward to your responses (especially from Kris, who has really impressed me with his marketing skills). Feel free to post post your suggestions. Thanks for all your help guys, all your help will help out many hospitalized children. -------------------- _____________________________________________________

Thanks for your help (as always) Matt. Youre like the GMC Santa.
My mom recommended KFC chicken but if we sold that then it would be illegal (we asked Mc Donald's manager if we could franchise their burgers and he said no) This post has been edited by jammer91: Nov 15 2007, 08:02 PM -------------------- _____________________________________________________

Thanks Smikey (i know youre doing a business degree so your advice is coming from some experince or learning). Im going to price it a bit higher than normal (price skimming as its called in business terms) because having Krispy Kreme and things catered at school is a rare opportunity and most likely many people are willing to buy it. Out there beyond the boundaries of our school your advice is ESSENTIAL.

Matt and Mickey, you both have given me an excellent promotion strategy... To wear a screamer mask and wear a KFC bucket hat as we might sell KFC chicken or twisters. Too bad theyve changed the bucket design to red and light brown background instead of red and white.
Ill be sure to post pics of the event . This post has been edited by jammer91: Nov 15 2007, 09:07 PM -------------------- _____________________________________________________

LOL! Good idea... but if they take you away dont blame us ok! Ill remember to say Mattacuk threatened me to do it (Theyd be like Matt who?). No i can get away and the main thing is it will catch attention (our school want good amount of profits for donations). Worst thing that could happen is that theyd warn me to take it off. Id like to call out for more information please (need atleast 10). -------------------- _____________________________________________________
