I was surfing on Soundclick when i came across this post:
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8056138

The guitar sound is just fantastic, in my opinion. It's a Reinau Tweed Deluxe with
a Weber 1265 ceramic. With a little googling I found out that a danish amp builder
named Lars Reinau built this. http://www.larsreinau.dk/

What i wonder is if any of you guys ever played an amp by him?
Since I live close to Denmark, I'm thinking of going there....

I found some players using it. But not many. The amp is actually a copy of a 50'ths Fender Tweed Deluxe (with the same parts as the original), with some modifications. What is most interesting is the price, which is much lower than Victorias copy's, not to mention if you come across an original Tweed Deluxe.....

Very very nice tone, and great built! Point to point handwired, simplified Bassman circuit, real wood cab... Boutique amp at it's finest - whats the price? smile.gif

I think its pretty cheap, at least in comparison to Victorias and others... i've seen one used for about 800$, so I guess around 1000-1200 new... I will post a new post about this right now, check it out.

Sounds good. I have to admit being fascinated with those Victoria amps though. They have some cool stuff.

you should check out Gregor Hilden on you tube, he uses the okko diablo pedal with either a carol-ann amp or an origignal 66 vibroverb, his tones are to die for mate!!

Yeah, I did now. The tone is great, but he seems to be a les paul player, Im looking for that "brown" strat-sound in the first place, since i got stuff to fix the les paul tone with. I own a Fender Blues Deluxe, but what is strange here is that since I switched to Texas pickups, the strat looses its clearness in this amp..... Anyway, the Blues Deluxe had great clean sound, but its not "brown", if u know what i mean....

this is a great sound he gets with the carol ann and a fender EJ strat (Same as mine!) apparently this is based largely on a dumble super drive and this is with no pedals.
Sadly very expensive though.
