the green screen is an easy thing to do, you need a big wall, and you need some green paint, do the mix of the paint as shinny as you can, lemon green is perfect.
now paint the wall with 2 or 3 very thick layers of paint, good lighting on the room and that's all
here are some more pics, 12 mid day.

Hey guys, glad everyone is liking it so far!
On the walls i'm putting TICK fiber glass cloth with tecnopor and drywall, this is enough for my monitors and guitar amps cause my studio is inside an apartment (150m2).
not using anything on the floor because i won't record acoustic drums or bass cabintes, i don't have the budget yet to go there and buy drumset mics etc, so for what i'm using now it will be more than enough
pics coming in an hour

Tiled floor with the reflections can sometimes work for some instruments - particularly acoustic guitar
. Maybe just put down a few rugs elsewhere to cut the reflection a bit for other instruments and vocals
.

Awesome stuff, I wish I could afford living in such a big apartment

great adrian. i would love to own a home and build one for myself. I made a small studio back at my office but we had to leave the house and the investment went on vain.
will be looking forward to the final version.

looks great so far! I would need to do something like that.. I have a third room that I already use as a 'office' even though I don't 'office' at home all my guitar equipment is already there but it would be nice to organize it a bit. hey! we could start a thread with pictures of our 'workspace' ?! maybe people can get inspired by other members and improve their recording lairs
Best of luck with finishing your studio!

oh man, a proper studio in your own house, what a dream ... Once I learn to play as well as you do, I owe it to myself to build one
