What are some good guitar books to learn from for beginners?That should be not some genre based...like metal scales for beginners or rock leads.....but more into generalised way?

Hi mate, that's not and easy question but my choice would be Guthrie Govan's Creative Guitar 1 (and then you can continue with the part 2).

Actually I have quit my job to pursue in another career....so every month I m not able to renew my GMC package now for a few months....so planning to go thru some books to practice now

All I can say is everything you need is here and one thing books don't give you is feedback. Feedback is essential because you don't always hear your own errors. It takes courage to post a take, believe me I was so shy about doing it, now I don't have any issues with doing it and it pushes your playing along due to a tiny bit of pressure.
