Hey guys,
I have a camcorder wich i use for video recording, now i record with it not-connected to pc, and when im done i put its SD-card into the pc and get my videos from it onto my pc.
This works ok but the big problem is:
The video is recorded in .mov format, it looks great when i look at it in quicktime, 1280x720 resolution, very sharp image, very bright.
But as soon as i convert it to any other kind of file (or upload to youtube for example) it gets terribly dark sad.gif

It can also connect to pc just like a webcam, so i thought maybe it would be alot better if i use a program that can use webcam to record video with.
I saw someone mentioning recording in windows movie maker in another topic, but i can't find any option like that in mine (i have Vista so maybe they took out the feature?)

Does anyone know another (free)program i could use to record video like this?
