So today i went on an adventure to the local guitar shop.. did the usually thing.. checked out some of the new guitars.. played sum Ibanez and found them to be un satisfactory.. dinked around with some accoustics and then got a tutorial on the coolest new amp from spyder which i will be reviewing in the near future.. BUT what was different was when i went to buy my picks the guy behind the desk recommended a new pick they just got at the shop. DAVA PICKS!!! smile.gif they are an interesting design.. a rubber grip with a finger slot and then a regular pick tip ( reminds me of the design of the light pick which muris featured) Only they cost about $1 canadian each rather than $30 biggrin.gif they weigh a bit more than a regular pick ( if weight in a pick is substantial) but feel tons better.. my tremelo picking feels soo much better now and my grip is 100x's better.. i don't think ill ever go back to regular picks now that ive found these smile.gif

10/10 as far as picks go smile.gif

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for those Dava picks too. I actually have some with a metal edge (where the other ones are coloured). The metal egde is extremely helpful for playing fast....and I haven't really noticed any string wear like I expected.

These picks are kinda two picks in one:
1) If you hold it far back, it flexes as to act like a thin pick for rhythms sections

2) If you choke up on it, it's becomes a more stiff pick for playing leads.

I highly recommend them, been using them for about a year now.

is there anyone who already bought this pick using the online store at www.davapick.com ?

i just want to know if it delivers in time or not? and how about the quality of the product?

because my country Indonesia is not one of their Distributors, so i think its not avalaible in the local music store. tongue.gif

Hmmmm...they sound pretty cool.

Doubt my local music shop will stock them though.
