GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ The Hottest Day

Posted by: Slavenko Erazer Aug 6 2012, 10:52 AM

Hi everybody! cool.gif

I should today prepare myself for Real METAL MELTDOWN cos the weather forecast says it will be 40 C Celsius in my city, or the Hottest day this summer!!! (in some places will be 42 C) unsure.gif

It;s now 11.30 am and thermometer says it's 35 c in shadow

How to fight against this? I;m really now staying in darkened home with AC , chilling myself with icey cold beer and easy food and not going out till 9.00 pm ...

Posted by: snackajacks Aug 6 2012, 10:57 AM

Make sure you have Ice cold beer in the first place. Also close the windows and curtains so the sun won't heat up your room. If you have a bath, fill it with cold water ( or beer ) and whenever you feel like use it as a pool to cool off, a cold shower will also help.
Make sure to stay hydrated smile.gif

Yeah man, thanks for kind advices.

Unfortunatelly Tuborg is not cheap ,(althought it's good for skin) I can't bath with it, so i'll use water instead .

here where i am the temp goes from 32-45 cÂș and is usually around 21-25 at night xD

Posted by: snackajacks Aug 6 2012, 02:47 PM

just make sure you won't get mosquitoes inside your house because they
are so annoying and they are making me go crazy for the last 2 days, they are smart, first they would sit on the
white wall so I could punch them with a book , now they go sit on the black wall waiting for the light to turn off and then zoom around my head.

Posted by: Slavenko Erazer Aug 6 2012, 02:50 PM

I can't get mosquitoes cos' i have nets on every window wink.gif
Don't destroy your books hitting them on some dreadfull germ wink.gif

This works too. Take an extremely hot shower (1min is enough) Then your body starts to cool down.

QUOTE
During hot/warm weather the blood vessels are closer to the skin. That way the blood will radiate heat from your inner core, plus the body will sweat to cool the skin and shed excess moister from the body. What a shower does is equalize the temp on the outside of the body with the inside. The real secret when it is hot outside is to take a cool to warm shower
