Have any of you guys heard of Chapman guitars?

They are collaboratively designed online via the YouTube Chanel of Rob Chapman.

The current project is the ML2 a solid mahogany LP type single cutaway with maple neck and ebony fretboard. The idea is that the bulk of the cost is put into the main wood and then customers can customise with their own preferred pickups etc. Though it does come with standard non branded pickups. Once the design is agreed upon a prototype is made and then it is shipped off to China where it is copied for a limited edition run of 250 guitars.

It looks a great deal at only £350 and I have ordered one which hopefully will be with me by Christmas time!

They can be ordered and secured via Andertons who ask for only a £35 deposit to secure your guitar untill they are built.

Well worth a look I feel.

I should have added that they have also done a Strat like model also. The ML1 which looks cool too.
