Hello all,

Just wanted to share my very first recording.

I'm a total newbie, just re-took the guitar hobbie about 3 months ago (after more than 12 years...), and just yesterday I started using toneport, gearbox, reaper, and beatcraft today smile.gif My head is going to explode! blink.gif

So I guess my recording will not be any good by the standards of this forum, but I guess I can share it and see what you guys think of it, don't be too harsh tongue.gif

I recorded two guitar tracks and I added an extra drums track using beatcraft. There's a short solo in E minor pentatonic and some natural minor at the very end.

Hope it sounds semi-all right at least! wink.gif

Pfffh, don't worry about that, we're here to learn. I think it was pretty good. The bending and timing on the solo was a bit off here and there, but other than that I think it's good. Pretty cool phrasing.

I agree with Robin, that was good guitar playing for three months cool.gif Like he said work on the bending and timing a bit, otherwise just keep playing and you'll keep getting better.

I'll focus on those bendings, I can't seem to get them right, and I'll try to follow the rythm while doing the solos, sometimes I focus so much on what I'm doing in that moment that I don't pay enough attention to the backing. mellow.gif

Thanks for the comments guys, it's good to know that at least I'm in the right track.

I guess I have to... Practice! Practice! Practice! laugh.gif

You're not supposed to pay attention to the backing, just feel the groove and play wink.gif

Sounds decent to me. And you had the guts to post it. I record myself all the time and then play it back and go....yow! It's fun though.

Had a guitar hanging, just about waist high, and we are going to play these things until the day we die.
