a power chord for drop d is just a bar on the frets, like this,

---------------------------l
---------------------------l
---------------------------l
----3-----5-------7-------l
----3-----5-------7-------l
----3-----5-------7-------l

and drop c is this,
--------------------l
--------------------l
--------------------l
--1---3----5-------l
--1---3----5-------l
--3---5----7-------l

if that is what you meant

Your diagram for a Drop C powerchord is incorrect: Drop C is the same chording as Drop D because there is the same equivalent 5 semitones between the notes.

Full D would be the second chording. DGCFAD.

But yeah, to play a powerchord in drop C or D you'd use the fingering shown in the first example.

Btw. it doesnt sound BAD:-D Its just.. different kind of (dis)harmony/chord. In some time, when you will compose riffs, be sure, to use this technique - playing standart fingerig for power chords in drop tuning:-D It sounds quite interesting, if you learn how to insert it properly:-D

Anyways, dont get fooled by me:-D In drop tunings (ALL) play power chords just by barring 2 or 3 strings:) depends, if you want basic (two strings) or enhanced (three strings - with octave) powerchord.

BUT this only applies for chords, that have root on low E string!
(Root = the note, after it the chord is named - e.g. => A5 powerchord has as root note A, D has root note D etc etc..)

for example A5 (with root on A string) powerchord in drop D you would play normally

e ----
B ----
G ----
D -2--
A -0--
D ----

but with root on low E string

e ---
B ---
G ---
D --7
A --7
D --7

Hope, that everything is clear, if not, post here, or I am availible on PM's;)
