It's alright. Just work on your technique. Make your picking more defined and solid. More meaningful and precise.

let me know what you think. Well done! Some times you're off beat though. You seem more comfortable with Wish you were here, Tears in heaven, Bohemian solo and that improvisation piece jam1. From your homepage. So I think you get more secure with the rhythm after practicing the same tune for quite a bit. Have you played jam1 a lot before you recorded it? -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |

No, never played it before - I just played the backing track and "jammed" along to it. I know it was pretty simple stuff, nothing complicated and no difficult techniques involved, just a little pentatonic twiddling. Did it in one take Thanks for the comments on the other stuff. -------------------- its not easy

Heh heh, nice job! Maybe we should post the one minute version of this or another and all post our own work over it.

I think I am going to try an "electric" solo over this BT - even playing the really simple Penta stuff I did acoustic sounds way different and much cooler with electric. - much easier to vibrato and add "feel" and "texture".
With the acoustic I know it sounded really simple but that is what I was trying to do - just some laid back simple easy twiddling with nothing complicated. -------------------- its not easy
