Hi Lexman! Great to hear from you! smile.gif

This takes shows that you have a good control of your metal rhythm technique. I can just mark a few details that I think you could improve on this take:

- Timing: Your timing is not bad but sometimes you tend to go a bit before the take. This problem mostly appears with palm muted notes (8th notes, galloping) and with some power chords.

- Palm muting sound: Sometimes I'd like to hear a bit more "note sound" on your palm muting technique. Experiment with less pressure or putting your right hand closer to the bridge.

- Slide chords: Some slides with power chords could sound clearer. Just pay attention to it.

I'm marking these details but I have to clarify that this is a VERY GOOD take. Keep on rocking! smile.gif

Hey mate!

I agree with Gabi on the small, but very important details - his keen ear is of great help and you should definitely slow things down a bit and isolate the parts he has pointed out and slowly work on more balance, a little, but just a little less palm muting and clean chord transitions when sliding.

Speed up the parts back to the original speed with a metronome and then after making sure you can play them individually, put them back together and practice against the original speed backing. Record and place it here or in the Practice room first, if you wish smile.gif We'll check it out either way and tell you what we observe! I know the road to perfection is not an easy one, but you definitely have what it takes!

All the best and keep rocking,

Cosmin

Hi dude, good to see you back !

First of all, let me say that this is a very solid take. You've got a good palm muting technique and most of your chords ring out very clearly.

The minor things that I noticed revolve around the subjects of timing and clarity.

-Regards timing, some of the changes and alternate picked muted notes are occasionally in front of the beat, as Gab pointed out. It's not too bad but it's noticeable enough for us to pick up on it.

The rest is mainly about clarity:

-The chord change from 0:31-0:33 is a little messy.
-Directly following that chord change, your first shape at 0:34 doesn't sound as tightly muted as the other ones.
-The sliding chords near the end or a bit rushed and not clear. This is very understandable because there's not a lot of time to fit them in - it's a tough chord change. It can be done though and you can definitely do it.

Overall, great work !
